Judge Makintach Denied Existence of Documentary and Revealed Rift with Colleagues

Buenos Aires, November 16 (NA) -- Judge Julieta Makintach confirmed that the documentary 'Divine Justice' never existed and revealed that she 'never spoke again' with her colleagues Maximiliano Savarino and Verónica Di Tomasso. Two days before the verdict to be announced by the Impeachment Jury, Makintach spoke with Agencia Noticias Argentinas about the accusations against her. 'There was no documentary,' she stated. They denied having spoken to me about the camera that filmed the first hearing for three hours and was broadcast on YouTube. 'It was a disgrace,' she added. In this sense, she revealed that both judicial officials 'never spoke again' with her after the scandal that broke out at the end of May. Regarding the decision that the 12 members of the Impeachment Jury will announce on Tuesday at 10 AM at the Annex of the Buenos Aires Senate, she stated: 'We will wait.' The woman is suspended from her post, removed from the chair she held at the Law Faculty of Austral University, and is accused in a criminal case handled by UFI N°1 of San Isidro. 'There was no documentary,' she maintained regarding the audiovisual project that caused the annulment of the trial for the death of Diego Armando Maradona. The judge accused her peers Di Tomasso and Savarino, pointing out that 'they could have avoided the annulment of the trial': 'They lied when the irony was that I was the one lying.' In the accused's opinion, the members of the Oral Criminal Court (TOC) number 3 of San Isidro 'only took care of dumping all their responsibility on me'.
